The wedding will be in November (southeast USA). The site is the yard basically of an antebellum mansion; the reception is inside the mansion. Her dress is strapless organza over satin, beading on the bodice, full ballgown type skirt (again organza over satin with satin border and beading on the bottom on the skirt). She is wearing a diamond-look headpiece with fingertip length veil. The flower girl/jr. bridesmaids are in white organza over satin tea-length dresses. I have two choices of dresses and am undecided. Dress #1 is sea-green-aqua crepe, round neck sleeveless 2 rufflely (sp?) kind of swingy bottom (slightly below knee length) with a sheer matching jacket with sea-green-aqua pearls tered all over the jacket (probably wearing silver shoes) or perhaps the dress without the jacket (kind of matronly looking) and just a pretty organza shawl. Dress #2 is champagne color, floor length, slightly off the shoulder short sleeves, fitted bodice (slightly below waist) with beads.

Basically the surgery will entail taking out a small piece of bone that has grown between my ankle joint and has somewhat fused the joint. My orthopedic surgeon said the surgery will be about 2 1/2 hours long, and that I will be under general anesthesia. After surgery I will be non-weightbearing and in a cast for 4 weeks, and then modified activity and a boot for the next 4. Does anyone know anything about this surgery? If not, anything about ankle surgery in general? Approximately how long will I have to stay in the hospital? What should I pack to bring to the hospital? Any other helpful advice? I'm only 13, so I'm pretty nervous to be getting surgery although I've been mildly sedated before for the cortisone injection. I had been on Zoloft and Trileptal, but I got a deadly electrolyte imbalance. Also, along w/ the electrolyte/salt imbalance i went nuts. I was EXTREMELY paranoid as well. I deleted some friends from my facebook and was afraid kids at school were plotting against me. I accused my mother of trying to poison me (which was not true)! My psychiatrist (who falls asleep when i talk to him and has a smelly, moldy office) said it was a "manic episode" and put me on lithium. My school psychiatrist and neurologist said just stay away from those meds, b/c i had a bad reaction to them (and this episode would not have occurred under natural conditions). Also, the school psychiatrist thought the other psychiatrist was a moron for saying i had a "manic episode" caused by bipolar disorder. btw: i am getting a new psychiatrist. The neurologist said years ago that i probably have ADD as well (i have always had a "listening problem" and i can never complete anything i start). I also have tics, which i have been taking Haldol for for almost 10 years. i have always had trouble losing weight, no matter how healthy/much i eat or how much i exercise. To make matters worse, the lithium has caused me to gain like 15 lbs, and i am totally disgusted by that. My $200 juicy couture pinstripe jeans don't even fit over my blubbery thighs anymore! I am only 17 years old, and i am a size 8 (and only 5'4). I want to look cute and ii, but i feel i cant b/c of my size. I have been told (by a doctor and a few other ppl) that i probably have insulin resistance (and lithium causes that too). Nevertheless, if i cut my portion size not only will i probably not lose too much weight, but my metabolism will slow down; therefore i want the doctor to perscribe me Adderall. I can never concentrate on school work anyways, and all i do is goof off on facebook and the internet when i get home. In school, when we are asked to start clwork all i do is chit chat w/ other ppl or daydream. 2 weeks ago i filed for divorce from my wife Kaleigh when i woke up in the morning i was having 2nd thoughts. When she found out she start crying uncontrollably telling me how we have barely been married and how much she loves me and that a divorce would break her heart. We have been married a little over 3 months and it has been nothing short of chaotic. She is an alcoholic and she told me she doesn't have a problem. A week after the wedding she was arrested on her 2nd DUI and lost her license. I knew she was alcoholic before i married her but she swore she would go to AA after the wedding and sober up. I had never seen her breakdown and cry and changed my mind and never had the papers drawn up. I went with with her to her first AA meeting. I thought she was still going to AA when she called my at work from jail she was arrested again this time for public intoxication. She told me she had only went to the one meeting and that the people their were too judgmental. I'm pissed and sick of her bullshit i love her with all my heart but i see almost no alternative then divorce. My EX girlfriend who is the mother of my 5 year old daughter told me it was a mistake to marry her and she won't change for me. My EX and i are getting along for the first time in years and she has told me she wants to get back together and be a family. My daughter would be so excited she always wanted to be a real family and she doesn't get along with Kaleigh either. However i feel like a divorce would be quitting on her and i am not a quitter. However i feel like i have done all i can do. She opened up to about her childhood which she had been reluctant to ever discuss she told her dad used to beat her mom and her at her and her sister. He was an alcoholic and she started drinking with him so he wouldn't beat her so he could have a drinking buddy. Her parents divorced soon after.This explains why i never met her parents or her sister. She told me she would go to counseling to sort out her past. I don't know if i should believe her. what decision is the right one?

This is for full anesthesia if you are only getting local this won't be much help, but I strongly recommend getting full anesthesia, it's much easier to be unconscious during the whole procedure. You go to the office the doctor talks with you about the procedure and then they take you to the operating room. You lay down in a chair and they put straps over your arms (so they don't move while you are unconscious) then if you want they give you laughing gas (to help with the discomfort) and put in an IV (the needle is kind of big, just don't look). Then they start the IV fluids, which feel really cold in your arm. Then they put the anesthetic mask over your nose and ask you to count back from 10 or 20 or 100 or something like that. You won't get very far before it's lights out. While I was out I didn't even dream, I was just straight up out. So for me it was like I closed my eyes for a few seconds and a few hours ped. Next thing you know you'll be waking up usually your parent/s will be there. Then the help you up. You'll be really out of it. You'll shuffle back to the car. Go home and sleep. After that your mouth will hurt quite a lot but they give you Viccoden and that works miracles. I was out of it for a few days, but I've seen people up in the afternoon after the surgery (not really a good idea) it's best if you have a weekend minimum to recover. And you'll have to irrigate your mouth; basically they give you a syringe that squirts water and you fill it with hot salt water and spray it in the back of your mouth to prevent any infection (you can't brush back there - OUCH). And a few weeks later the stitches will dissolve and they'll come right out (which is kind of nasty, just spit them out if you can) and before you know it you'll be good as new. But really it's not that bad. You'll do fine.

I am so sorry for your loss. I had a missed miscarriage in January. I know the baby's heart stopped within a week (it was slow at my ultrasound, so our doctor told us is would stop) We came back a week later, and there was no heart beat. I had no pain or bleeding. My doctor said our bodis can go into a vicious cycle of rising and falling levels of progresterone, the hormone that sustains pregnancy. A drop causes the uterine lining to shed. But in a missed miscarriage, the body knows something is still there, to the levels drop and then spike again. It sounded awlful. I'm only 34 weeks 2 days pregnant, and my baby is breech. They admitted me to the L&D floor where I've been for the past 3 days and I got the steroid shots to help mature the baby's lungs. They told me they would send me home if the baby were not breech but because he is and if I go home and dilate further the cord could fall out or baby could stick his foot out etc. I have not changed from 4 cm in 3 days that I've been here. They said if he were head down they would send me home, which is scary I mean I'm already 4 cm and delivered my last baby at this exact same time. My daughter's will be having their second and thrid birthday parties together in 2 months. Their father and I have no clue what theme to use. Ever had anything stolen?...By TSA?

Yes, but not that bad. TSA lost my flight itinerary while searching my entire family's luggage during the security check. It probably wasn't stolen, but they certainly took it and forgot what they did with it. British Shorthair Cat not feeling well...?

My cat Gracie is 5 years old. She was bottle fed by the breeder due to the mothers milk drying up so she has always been kind of susceptible to illness. She has developed allergies which we get steroid shots for every season, but this year she started hacking, almost between a purr and a hairball but more upper lung area and more fluid like. When I took her to her vet she had a temp which we started amoxy drops for, we couldn't do bloodwork because of the temp and possible infection. We thought upper resp infection at first but I have 6 other cats who have shown no symptoms and Gracies congestion is no better. She doesn't feel well I can tell but she is eating and grooming herself. She has had some gradual weight loss which concerns me because of everything else that is going on. So my question is, has anyone else had a cat w/ these symptoms and if so what was the diagnosis? She goes back to the vet Monday for bloodwork.

What kind of video game do I want?

Dont go oblivion to soon. Oblivion is the fourth in a line of great games. Play Morrowind. Its the thrid in that series. Get it on pc, since the console load times are abysmal and can take the fun out of the game. Your computer should be able to run morrowind. It wont be as god as Oblivion, but Morrowind is going to have at least 40 hours of game play in the main quests. Tag on a couple hundred side quests and unless your an elite gamer who is realy realy realy good, your looking at a 70-80 hour game. SUpposedly Oblvion has around 100 hours, but 80 will get ye started. Beleive me, by the time you get completely finished with Morrowing, you'll have a computer good enough to run Oblivion :)

oh my. you wear too much nail polish too often. the corrosive chemicals in the polish and varnish wear down your nail enamel, the stuff that makes it strong, white, and smooth. this cant heal immediately, but try using some vitamin D and calcium lotion on them, or wash them in some kind of nail remover/repairer and make them get more sun^^. next time dont wear so much polish, wear it once every 1 -1/2 weeks, and make sure to properly clean them.

That's really weird. When I hear yellow skin and sclera I think liver failure. Obviously you're still alive two years later, so it's not that. I don't have any answers, but my thoughts are that maybe it was a severe case of mono and it triggered an auto-immune disease. Underage drinking in California?

Ok so I did something really stupid last week. I brought a half of a water bottle of vodka to school. On March 5th, I had protected with a condom but there was leakage. At the time, my period was expected to come a few days later. Regardless, even though I shouldn't have been fertile at the time, I took Plan B One Step within two hours of the incident to be on the safe side and got my period 8 days later (last Monday) which was extremely heavy and long... I just finished today, March 21st. However, I am still somewhat nervous about pregnancy. My question is this: let's say I had ovulated on the day of the condom mishap or a few days later and the egg was fertilized. The fact that I just had my period would then mean nothing, correct? Wouldn't I miss my next period if I had gotten pregnant? I know implantation can take up to twelve days after ovulation. Right now it has been 16 days since the accident and because I am no longer on my period, is it possible that a fertilized egg could still implant itself within the next few days?

Help with my puppy!?

My 9 wk old Yorkie has kennel cough. We got him medicine for it and the vet said to try and get him to eat. What could I do to entice him to eat?

I'm kind of nervous because I live in a 3 bedroom duplex. Its one floor but it enough room. And I'm getting my chi-poo on saturday. I'm just worried about my school hours keeping me for walking/feeding it. I'm also nervous about the potty training. I need some pointers please help !

Is there a way that I can extract the excess blood/marrow from chicken (drumsticks) before I cook them?

I am referring to that dark red/brown stuff that is close to the bone and on the meat that is close to the bone, especially on chicken drumsticks. That is so gross to me. My mother inlaw said she soaks the chicken in cold salt water for a while, but I don't want to do that because I am afraid that it will make the chicken too salty. Has anybody ever heard of this or does anybody have any other remedies and/or suggestions?

Why isnt my turn signals working?

I have a 99 firebird and my blinkers used to work but they just slowly quit. But my emergency flashers work but not my blinkers? I don't think it would be a fuse but i haven't checked yet, So there any other suggestions?

What can i do about being harrased by a teacher..?

i am 68 a electronic tech by trade.. no work for us.. i am attending the camden county vocational school for electric technoology.i have been there since september. and the room is full of people sleeping and raising hell. i complained to the teacher and no results.. told me the school gets money for each student.. finally a week or so ago i wrote to the principal in the school and the one stop about not being able to learn.. after this the teacher said to me i am no longer his friend.. and that i should have moved to the front .then he tells the cl that i am the cause of the new rules and that he does not like to do this. putting me in jepordy if someone wants to get even.. the principal said that the hats had to be removed no cell phones.. no talking during the lecture.. no throwing objects no bad language.. also i am reminded pubically that i am getting the course free and i should not complain..then when i tried to talk about telling him first he denied this to the principal..

Do I have Asperger's?

I am currently 22 in college and I come from a conventional Asian family where my parents are not familiar and do not believe in mental disorders. As a result I have never been diagnosed and all throughout my life I was labeled shy. I have made no more than 10 friends the past 9 years and I always felt it to be difficult to maintain a well relationship with people in the long term. I always thought of it to be very hard to read other people's body languages and realize things they might be implying. I often find it frustrating when I discover that I made people feel bad and reject me without understanding the reason. I also tend to repeat the same routine, such as going to the same place for lunch and buying the same thing every other day. Often I realize that I have alternatives after repeating a routine for a while. I have always liked to sketch pictures of cars whenever since I was little and I get fascinated at things that are explicit and easy to understand such as video games, cars, geographical facts, etc. I have been wondering for the past few years about this after reading about Asperger's and finding the symptoms familiar. I have been feeling depression, frustration, anxiety, and loneliness for as long as I can remember but nothing that I've tried improved my situation. I won't feel bad learning that I might have it for the first time if it explains all of the above. Thanks in advance for your input.

Paladin with heirlooms unfair?

Last weekend Arathi Basin was call to arms. So i thought i would get on my level 27 paladin and Own it up. I just bought the plate heirlooms for him and wasnt expecting much of a difference...I was specced holy btw. I went to the mines knowing i would get beat because of the initial alliance zerg. There were two druids, a warlock, a hunter, a priest, and a rogue ALL trying to kill me. I tanked them all the way up to the blacksmith self healing, only stopping to get a quick flash heal in. I never dropped below 65% mana. Needless to say, i servived the encounter because there were alot of my friends waiting at blacksmith. I felt bad but pleased with myself. Then i thought..imagine what i could do at the highest level in my bracket with these. Then i thought..thats just ridiculous. I would be very angry if i was trying to kill someone Like that. Has anyone ran into this kind of situation?

Has any one ever had doctor prescribe prednisone for baby (almost 4month old)?

I have used prednisone myself int he form of a pill before when i had break outs of eczema. My son will be 4 month on 1/4/2007, he is having a really bad case of rash. His face and scalp is itchy, it wakes him up at night because he's always scratching. The skin on his cheeks and around his ears are cracked and pussing. His whole body is dry and peeling with red lesions on his chest stomach back and arms. My regular docs at kaiser kept saying it was NORMAL, but it just keeps getting worse. SO i took him to another doctor today who prescribed him Prednisone liquid form to take for 5 days, and elidel for his whole body and this other liquid steroid to use for his scalp for 5 days. I feel that is soooo much for a little baby, but at this point i would do anything the doctor says to help the baby out. Cus his skin condition just doesnt seem to be getting any better...it just keeps getting worse

Browns with a bit of red or purple bring out green very well. It sounds like you have a fair complexion though so you'd probably want to get gles with a thin plastic frame to keep from overwhelming your face with a dark color. It seems like you might also have a rounder face, which means you could probably get away with a larger style of gles, which would open them up to show off your eyes better than small frames. Sorority and frat people ----What is a cold dorm?

I was talking over college experiences with someone. I was independent but I remember there was this myth that the frats on campus but moreso the sororities had a specific room in their sorority/frat houses lined with bunks that was simply for sleeping and thus always kept dark at an optimal cool temperature--hence a cold dorm. This was supposed to be seperate from the individual member's shared room with another member.. allowing a person to sleep there is their sleep hours were unconventional or they just needed more quiet, etc. Is this correct? True? I always thought it sounded like such a cool convenience.

Ok i have this BIG pimple on my nose, [its MORE of a blackhead] but it WONT GO AWAY! I use my acne facewash 3 times a day [ur supposed to] and ITS NOT BUDGING! Why does my Generac generator engine sputter and die when I turn off the choke?

I start it with full choke, run it at half choke and it runs well. It carries an electrical load well. I can run it like this for hours and it doesn't skip a beat. As soon as I try to move the choke from half to run (no choke) position the engine sputters and dies with and without a load on the engine.

Gerber baby yogurt what is the difference?

My daughter who is 10 1/2 months old really likes the Gerber baby yogurt. I recently purchased some more for her and didn't realize until I got home that one of the packages has the "toddler" logo on it, not the sitter. What can I do to help my German Shepherd who has separation anxiety...?

My GSD is just over a year old and is awesome. She has been to obedience cl but the only problem she has is separation anxiety. An couple of examples would be I put her in a sit stay and when I walk away she barks like I'm not coming back and second, if she can see me and not get to me (ie. screen door or on the other side of a fence) she starts to bark and will jump a 6ft fence. She doesn't destroy things in the house when my husband and I go to work and she's fine alone, its just when she can see me and not get to me is when it becomes a problem. What can I do?

Carburetor is flooding.?

I have a 1978 Buick Regal with a 383 stroker. I adjusted my floats all the way down on my Holley 4150 carburetor and fuel is coming out of the hollow shaft that rises out of the float bowl. When I raise the floats, more fuel squirts out. Fuel pressure is at 5.5 psi. I am uming this 600 cfm carburetor is too small if anything. This problem arose after installing a new single plane intake. What could the problem be?

Very strange religious dream. What does it mean?
