If she confronts anyone, it should be the dad. Since his wife is sick, maybe he is very sad over the possible loss of her due to cancer. This is very sad. I would tell her not to tell her mom, if anyone tells her it needs to be her husband. What a sad time for her to be trying to fight an illness and to have this happen. I think you should continue to be as supportive as possible to your friend. Her family is going through alot of difficulty and she will need to have someone trustworthy to talk to.
