Why my parents feel girls don't deserve freedom?

You have to make her understand that they can't control her, especially after she's 18. Encourage her to continue her education when she finishes high school even if your parents get upset. Keep telling her she deserves this and she should make the best of her life because she's worth it and it's not being spoiled.
