In regards to the rituals of 420?

While not partaking in narcotics/amphetamines/opiates myself, I would like to voice my opinion in saying that, if your going to "celebrate" 420, what's the significance of any other day where you do the same things? I mean, of course, there was an age where i myself indulged in such things but honestly-i don't have the time or money lately. I'm not trying to hate or offend I just wanna know is all.
