Strange case of mono?

That's really weird. When I hear yellow skin and sclera I think liver failure. Obviously you're still alive two years later, so it's not that. I don't have any answers, but my thoughts are that maybe it was a severe case of mono and it triggered an auto-immune disease. I recently found out that I have one and I've had lots of problems with my tonsils. I even had them removed at one point only to have them grow back. No joke. Also, mono can linger and cause symptoms years later.
