Wondering if anyone has seen film of horse and carriage riding off of bluff cliff on lower saranac lake, NY?

From what i've heard, in the late 1800's to early 1900's a film or films were made of horse and carriages plummetting from the cliffs on bluff island in the northern New York's Adirondack Saranac Lakes region. I was also told i could find these reels at my local library (saranac lake), though they have no knowledge of such a film. Now i have both the interest of the library and myself in the air, can somebody please help us out?
